Harajuku

Harajuku is the name of area near Harajuku Station in Shibuya, Japan. But it also refers to teenagers and young people that dressed in any fashion in Harajuku area. Harajuku fashion can be grouped into : Ganguro and Kogal, Gothic Lolita, Cosplay, Kawaii and Decora, and Visual Kei.

Ganguro is a style that symbolized the average American teenagers with bleached hair, dark skin, fake eyelashes and nails. Ganguro girls also wear brightly coloured clothes including miniskirts, tie-dyed sarongs, lots or rings, necklaces and bracelets. Kogal style is similar to Ganguro style.

Gothic Lolita refers to the fashion, knee-length dress, headband, mitten, long socks. It's a doll-alike style.

Cosplay is stand for costume play. They are dressed up as anime, manga, game, or movie characters.

Kawaii style refers to someone wearing cute clothes that usually are made for children. Decora consist of bright colour and hair clips with bow.

Visual Kei refers to style of Japanese rock musicians and is characterized by the use of elaborate costumes, eccentric, looks and hairstyles.

And these are the harajuku style of my version :

I think Harajuku style is unique, daring, brave, and always surprising! One day I want to go there and maybe dressup like one of them.
