Back To Nature

Sometimes it is good to go to countryside. Go away from your busy activities for a while.

Fell the fresh air that untouch by air polution. Just close your eyes. Inhale..Exhale..

                                            See something green and brown.

                                                 Appreciate God's creation.

XOXO

The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow

The sun'll come out tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
there will be the sun

Just thinkin' about tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs, and the sorrows
'Til there's none

When I'm stuck a day,that's gray,
And lonely..
I just stick out my chin, and Grin,
and say ...................

The sun'll come out tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow

I love ya tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

Harajuku

Harajuku is the name of area near Harajuku Station in Shibuya, Japan. But it also refers to teenagers and young people that dressed in any fashion in Harajuku area. Harajuku fashion can be grouped into : Ganguro and Kogal, Gothic Lolita, Cosplay, Kawaii and Decora, and Visual Kei.

Ganguro is a style that symbolized the average American teenagers with bleached hair, dark skin, fake eyelashes and nails. Ganguro girls also wear brightly coloured clothes including miniskirts, tie-dyed sarongs, lots or rings, necklaces and bracelets. Kogal style is similar to Ganguro style.

Gothic Lolita refers to the fashion, knee-length dress, headband, mitten, long socks. It's a doll-alike style.

Cosplay is stand for costume play. They are dressed up as anime, manga, game, or movie characters.

Kawaii style refers to someone wearing cute clothes that usually are made for children. Decora consist of bright colour and hair clips with bow.

Visual Kei refers to style of Japanese rock musicians and is characterized by the use of elaborate costumes, eccentric, looks and hairstyles.

And these are the harajuku style of my version :

I think Harajuku style is unique, daring, brave, and always surprising! One day I want to go there and maybe dressup like one of them.

Hello Again

Hi there! I've been blogging for several months but I think I'm too lazy and busy to update my blog. So this blog is a little neglected. Sorry,my blog. But from now I will update my blog as often as possible. Promise. Hopefully. And I will turn this blog into fashion blog. Thankyou to my sister for the inspiration. I'm maybe not as good as my sister in sense of fashion, but i will do my best. I don't have any spesific style. I wear what I love and what makes me comfortable. I'm a freespirit of fashion. Hahaha.

I think it will be better if I re-introduce myself. My name is Vanesa Indrawan. I live in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. I have a clean freak mom, a super kind dad, 2 adorable sisters, and a strong healthy grandma. I love them very much. I just graduate from UPH (Universitas Pelita Harapan). Now I'm helping my father running his waterboom. Beside that I'm also doing aerobic, going to english course, and joining bible study.

Well, enough for today. See you on my next post.

Love,
Vanesa Indrawan

Graduation Day-yeay!

Hi guys! It's been a month since my last post. I didn't post anything- not because I'm busy, but because i'm lazy. Well, now I will try to post something as often as possible. Hopefully. Hahahaha.

A week ago, exactly on May 28th. Now I'm officially graduate from Pelita Harapan University. It was a struggle for me when I wrote my final papper. I can tell that it was a crazy and desperate moment for me. But it also fun! Weird huh? I know but I can't explain. Collage was great! I make a lot of new loveable friends and learn a lot of things. It's sad to say goodbye to them. But what can I do. Like they say every meeting must end with farewell.

Back to the topic, all the graduates look so pretty and handsome that day! The women (we are grown up so i called the women) wear Indonesian traditional dress : kebaya. It's not a must, you can also wear a gown or shirt, but all the graduates women mostly wear kebaya. As long as the graduation ceremony held, all the graduates must wear "toga". It's a little unique-the design of the "toga" but it makes you warm!

Here are some pictures from my graduation day. Enjoy!

Kebaya that I wear in my graduation day

                                                   With my BFF Annyzia Belinda

My Mom and Dad came. I graduate with my sister,so I hope it's a double hapiness for them.

                                                            My hair in graduation day.

To all my graduate friends : Congratulation guys! We've made it.This is not the end but the beginning of something new. Let us make Pelita Harapan University proud!
