Kebaya and Batik

Talking about traditional clothes in Indonesia, kebaya and batik are 2 of them. Kebaya is a traditional blouses dress combination that originates from Indonesia. It is made from sheer materials such as silk, thin cotton as nylon or polyester with floral pattern embroidery. Kebaya usually worn with a sarong or other traditional woven garment such as ikat or songket.
Batik is a cloth that traditionally made using a manual wax-dyeing technique. But now days, there are also batik which is made printed. UNESCO made Indonesia batik as Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
I wore this kebaya in my cousin wedding day. I really like and proud wearing it.
