Safe and Sound

Hi guys! I was swallowed by black hole so I couldn't blogging for 3 months. But here I am now comeback. Safe and sound. Hahaha. Just kidding. It's just my laziness like always. Here's some quick updates of my life :

Just turned 25 years old on 25th April. A quarter of century! O-L-D. But yet I feel so blessed and grateful for this life that God given to me.

Just came back from vacation in Singapore and Japan with my sister. More photos in Japan on the next post. In Singapore I only took few photos.

Finally got a boyfriend! Before this I have been single for 6 years. I know, my friends said that I'm crazy for being like that. I was a miss picky and too enjoy to be a single lady. But this man has stolen my heart. And I think it's time for serious relationship. Considering my own age. Looking the truth that most my friends are married. Seeing my dad that was worried that I hadn't have a boyfriend yet. Hahaha. I hope this relationship last long until forever.

Have a new hobby : drawing. Those are some pictures that I draw with my friend help. She is a very very talented artist. I learned so much from her. Kindly please visit her gallery at  www.ferlinyoswara.com

Another new hobby : taking photographs of sky and put wise words on the photos.

Obsessed with these 2 realty shows. These 2 reality shows quite famous especially in their origin countries.

Well, that's all from me for this time. Sorry for so random and low quality pictures. All the photos taken by my iPhone. And the last 2 pictures (pictures of ANTM and Running Man) from google. I almost never touch my Canon lately. =(
See you on the next post! XOXO

Life is A Choice

Everyday in our life, we are confronted with choices. As a human, sometimes we ask God, not uncommon to also ask ourselves, whether the choice that we took was right or wrong. Many times we wish that we knew then what we know now. So we can decide which choice must we took. The choices that we took, establish our tomorrow. The world has not invited time machine yet, so there is no way to come back to the past and change the future. Maybe you are afraid and confuse to choose. But it's better to have some choices than not have choice at all, right?  Of course you must think deeply and be careful before you deciding something. But every choice has its own risk. So don't be afraid to choose. All the choice, the right one or the wrong one, make you learn and make you become a better person.

Trick Art

On 1 January 2013, I went to Trick Art at Grand Indonesia Jakarta with my sister and my cousins. Trick art is a form of art interpretation using the precise visual manipulation or commonly known as optical illusion. The perfect integration of colors, perspective techniques and lighting created an outstanding collection of 3D effects that emerges from flat surface paintings. The pioneer of trick art is a Renaissance artist, Kenju Kazumune, a man from Yamagata, Japan. As far as I know, the trick art museum is located on Korea, Japan, and U.S. Make sure you visit this kind of museum if you go either to Korea, Japan, or U.S. The exhibition on Indonesia just be held until early February. It's so fun to pose in every artwork. Unfortunately we didn't bring any camera, because we didn't know about this Trick Art before. But these are some photos that we took used phone camera.

What picture do you see?

Happy 2013

Happy 2013 everybody! And also merry belated Christmas. I'm sorry that I didn't post anything during Christmas because I was sick. How did you celebrate your new year? I was at home. Read book, watched TV, made resolutions,  flashing my mind back to earlier 2012 until 31 December 2012, prayed, and slept. Really really interesting, wasn't it? LOL. But I'm so thankful for 2012. It was a great year, full of tears and laughs. Lots of things that I learned. Lots new people I met. Compare to January 2012, I think I become a stronger, wiser, and better person in December 2012. And God who make me like that. I'm ready for 2013. New beginning, new chapters, new adventures waiting for us. I'm wishing you a great years ahead!

Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland always be my most favorite fairy tale. It's about a girl who came into a strange place called wonderland. I think in our daily and reality life, this story is like a person who leave their comfort zone. Come into totally a whole new world, meet unique and unexpected new people, experience new things that he or she has never been experienced before.
Frankly speaking, it is, indeed difficult to leave our comfort zone. A lot of people feel so secure and comfortable in their own comfort zone. They make limitations and barriers, stay in that place and refuse to come out. They're too scare to take risks. But like wise man said, "life begins at the end of your comfort zone".
So, let us be like Alice. Dare to fall, deep deep down into the rabbit hole. Turn into a big size and small size. Get an advice from the caterpillar. Talking to cheshire cat. Have a cup of tea to celebrate unbirthday party with the mad hat. And playing golf with queen heart.
Let's step out from our comfort zone. Be dare, be brave. Tell to yourself that you can do it. Whatever it is. Your dreams, your visions, your goals. Don't give up and rise again when you fall. Let see the world with our bare eyes. Let's finding our wonderland.

Notes : These illustrations were drawn by Kei Acedera. She is very very talented. I love all her works. You can check it on www.imaginsmstudio.com
