Life Goes On

Our life is like giant ferris wheel; turning around and round. Slowly but sure. Sometimes we are in the top where success, love, and everything working so damn good. But sometimes all that we have gone, all that we do is totally failed. That's a very common thing about life and i'm pretty sure everyone has proved it. What happened, happening, or will happen in life, in the matter of fact are less important that our reaction to face that. To face life. People maybe hate and underestimate you, or maybe you are disappointed with people. Maybe your business or work not going so well. Maybe you feel depressed. Maybe your dreams broken into pieces. Maybe you are afraid and feel lonely. Maybe you think you have the worst life that someone could ever have. Yap, maybe you feel life sucks.
But you know what? FACED IT! Be brave and strong. Forgive people and forgive yourself. Give thanks for everything in every condition. Keep dreaming and make it come true. Always do your best.
Because no matter what happened, LIFE GOES ON. Don't make a pity to yourself , get up and live! You are worth it. =)

Dream Catcher

The painting process

For the one who continuously reading my blog, you guys must know one of my new hobbies; painting and drawing. So it's all started when my friend, Ferlin Yoswara sent broadcast message on blackberry messenger. Saying that she opened the class of drawing for children and adults. I replied her broadcast message and said "I really want to be good at drawing". She said that I should joined her class. But I said I really really sucks at this thing. Ferlin said "you can learn, you can do it." So that encouragement word *and my very lot spare time because I half jobless* make me joined on her class.

The final result : "Peek A Boo" (see this in reverse)

Most of the people make an excuse "i don't have talent" for not good at doing something. They like it  but they think they can't do it. Some people naturally good at something, but some people must work harder to be good at something. But if we like it, why not?  If you have a hobbies, passions, dreams; whatever it is, as long as that a positive things, you must pursue it. There is nothing to loose to learn something that you like. And remember, we never too old to learn something new.

My other painting : "Sweet Things"

Maybe some of people think this drawing lesson is just for children, but once again I would like to say : age is not barrier. I still learning to be better. And I found that drawing and painting is really fun. And scientifically it help you to develop your right brain.

"5 Balloons"

Redraw from Mark Ryden : "Little Girl and Mr. Bear"

What is your passion? What is your dreams? Catch them. In your journey in making your dreams come true, there will come failure, there will come haters and people that saying that you can't. Don't let  those things make you down. If you feel like that you want to give up, remember that you have those people who not have faith in you and also haters to prove that they are wrong. Imagine how would it be if you can achieve your goals and your dreams. Failures are lesson that you learn on your journey. Failure will make you better in your next steps. And the most important thing : ora et labora. That means work and pray. You can't do this with your own strength. Ask God to guide and help you. So all of you, the dream catchers, make your dreams come true!

Life is A Choice

Everyday in our life, we are confronted with choices. As a human, sometimes we ask God, not uncommon to also ask ourselves, whether the choice that we took was right or wrong. Many times we wish that we knew then what we know now. So we can decide which choice must we took. The choices that we took, establish our tomorrow. The world has not invited time machine yet, so there is no way to come back to the past and change the future. Maybe you are afraid and confuse to choose. But it's better to have some choices than not have choice at all, right?  Of course you must think deeply and be careful before you deciding something. But every choice has its own risk. So don't be afraid to choose. All the choice, the right one or the wrong one, make you learn and make you become a better person.

Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland always be my most favorite fairy tale. It's about a girl who came into a strange place called wonderland. I think in our daily and reality life, this story is like a person who leave their comfort zone. Come into totally a whole new world, meet unique and unexpected new people, experience new things that he or she has never been experienced before.
Frankly speaking, it is, indeed difficult to leave our comfort zone. A lot of people feel so secure and comfortable in their own comfort zone. They make limitations and barriers, stay in that place and refuse to come out. They're too scare to take risks. But like wise man said, "life begins at the end of your comfort zone".
So, let us be like Alice. Dare to fall, deep deep down into the rabbit hole. Turn into a big size and small size. Get an advice from the caterpillar. Talking to cheshire cat. Have a cup of tea to celebrate unbirthday party with the mad hat. And playing golf with queen heart.
Let's step out from our comfort zone. Be dare, be brave. Tell to yourself that you can do it. Whatever it is. Your dreams, your visions, your goals. Don't give up and rise again when you fall. Let see the world with our bare eyes. Let's finding our wonderland.

Miracles Happen Every Day

Miracles always happen everyday in our life. When we opened our eyes this morning. When a stranger smile to you. When you laugh with your friends. The thing is; people are busy expecting "big miracles". Something amazing and beyond understanding, so they don't notice "little miracles" that happened. It's not that I want people to give up on big miracles. I also believe in big miracles. The point is : appreciate and thanked God for every little miracle that happened in your life. Believe me, your life will be happier. Keep believing in big miracles, keep giving thank for the little ones.

"My life and most people's lives are a series of little miracles"

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is miracles. The other is as though everything is a miracles."

Special thanks to my sister who edited these photos. Love it. Have a day full of miracles, friends. XOXO

Have a Little Faith

So many terrible things happened to me lately. Loss, broken hearted, sickness, and other little things that bother me. I feel that I'm running out my tears supply now. I want to runaway and will never found by anyone.   But, here I am writing this blog. Because someone found me. God.
No matter what happen, God always good. Maybe sometimes we don't understand why all these ugly things happen in our life. But just believe in you heart; if God let something happen in our life, it will bring the goodness in the end. All the bad things and all the good things. He works in His own way that we can't understand. For everything happen for reason. Have a little faith, that everything will be all right. Remember : What doesn't kill you make you stronger. And through all this, I realize that God always here with me. He is the one who give me strength to forgive, to let go, and to raise again. Whatever happen, be grateful, be thankful, and don't walk away from God. Because He never ever leave us. Have a little faith =)

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside waters, He restores my soul.
He lead me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.
For You are with me.
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Sometimes unexpected and unfortunate things can be happen in one day. Whether you are good people or bad people. Yes, bad things also happen to good people. One bad day that you will never forget. Well, that was happen to me a couple weeks ago. The day when my blackberry lost and taken, the day when I bought a coke and overflow all over the car seat, the same day when I hit my own head to speaker and bleeding. I really felt dizzy and so tired, I just wanted to go home, but my driver so late to pick me up. That day, I could be mad, grumble, and complain. But guess what? I was chill and calm that day. My blackberry was lost, but I still have another one (my dad just let me bought it a few days before). The coke made the car dirty but at least the coke didn't make any serious harm to the car. I was bleeding and dizzy but thanks God I didn't need to be hospitalized or had brain concussion.

The most important thing is our response to the situation. There's no return to feel angry or to take a pity for yourself. What you can do is see the bright and positive side of the situation. You are not the most unlucky person in this world. I definitely forgive the person who took my blackberry. Remain grateful for whatever happen in our life. Have a great night everyone ^^.

A Loser Like Me

Have you ever felt that all you have done wrong? All have you done just a wasted of time? You mess up all things. People mocked you. They talk something bad behind your back. They call you a loser.
Misunderstood. Underestimated. Feel like a trash. Feel so useless. Wondering why were you born in this world. Sometimes I feel like that. And I just hate and keep blaming myself for the things that I did wrong. But then life give me this wisdom :  No matter what you've done; the good things or the bad things, people will always judge you. How ever good or bad we are, we will always have hatters. So, let the hatters give us a motivation to stand up and rise up! It's okay to make mistakes, because we learn from them. Successful people are not the ones who always right. Successful people are the ones who make mistakes but they doesn't give up. They learn from their mistakes.
Each one of us was born in this world for a good reason. God not create us to be a loser, but to be a winner. So find your calling in life and be a winner!

Happy Valentine

Mind Your Own Business

We act, other people react. That's the law of action and reaction. Now days people really want to know other people business that has no relation with them. Gossip. They just like to talk about other people. But actually they don't know the truth. Actually they don't know anything at all. They like gossiping about anything and anyone. Friends, people that they know, public figures. Anyone has possibility for being  a victim.
With all technology development now, we have blackberry, facebook, twitter. We can write anything on it. Some people really open about their feeling. They are updating their status in every one minutes. Some people like to grump about anything. Some people like updating about their existence (where they are now). Some people like to count down, like : "20 days to go", and the other one day : "19 days" to go until : "the day!". Some people like writing acronym, even the one that not common. Some people are seller and updating their products. And some people just put an emoticon on their status. But some people choose to remain silent. Just blank on their status.
Once again, your action will provoke reaction. People who read your status will react. Some of them ask you directly about the truth. They really care about you and want to help you. Or maybe they just want to know about it. But the people who don't ask anything will make their own opinion. They make assumption. They make a story in their mind. They ADD something to the story. And they tell their friends about it. And their friends ADD another thing, and tell their sister about it, and it will be going on and on until everybody know. But only you who know the truth.
It is up to you of course to update or write anything you like. But I just give you a suggestion : think twice before you write it. It is really for your own good. Maybe you said that you don't care about other people opinion but the truth, we do care about it. So be careful my beloved bloggers =) Don't expose all your life. Express your feeling, your thoughts and your life, only for people who deserved to know it.

I Hear The Wedding Bell Ring

Last Saturday, exactly on 7th January 2012, my beloved cousin, Yemima was on her Wedding Day! I'm really happy for you, cousin. Wedding party always be a special occasion for me. Whoever's wedding it was. Meeting all the relatives and old friends. Laughs, bright smile, surge of happiness, and happy tears always be an atmosphere at the Wedding.  But recently, being at the Wedding party give me a little insecurity. A lot of relatives ask "when will you get married?". Yes, it is because I'm on the age that proper for marriage. Sometimes I ask God, "Who will I get married to?", "When will I met him?", and "When I met him, how do I know if he's really the one?".

At the Blessing Ceremony, my uncle; who is the pastor, give a very good speech about marriage. Our ancestors (Chinese people) were matchmaking with their husband or wife. They didn't know anything about their husband or wife candidate. They didn't know his or her face, body, appearance, attitude, or character. Now, we are given the freedom to choose our life partner. But why our ancestors have long lasting marriage, meanwhile we; who choose our own husband or wife, (a lot of them) ending their marriage with divorce? My wise uncle said that our ancestors believed that their mate was a gift from their parents, so they take care and guide their partner well. They appreciate what their parents give for them, because their parents know what the best for them.

So, I do believe that life partner is a gift from God. And He knows when the right time for us to meet. Or maybe we have already met but we haven't realize. Everything is beautiful in His time. Now I just want to enjoy my life without being worried about this. Have a great day everyone ^^.
